Wow that is a big cat, we fish for them but never get any monsters like that. The biggest I caught was 32 inch 15 pound channel cat.


OregunHntr big ones like that taste horrible, anything over 12 inches starts to get a mud taste. At least that is our experience here in PA. We only keep the little ones for cooking.

I agree, the big ones are greasy and get a bad taste to them. I only like to eat them in the 2 to 5 lb range

Nice monster!

I caught my biggest at Buggs Island. It was 48lbs.
