More vintage fishing gear (anyone remember these from 1954?)
Check this out... I restored my wife's grandfather's old South Bend fishing rod & reel from back around 1954 (according to the internet - I looked up the make/model, approx. year)..

Yes it does! Thankfully, I was able to find a blueprint/exploded view of the Oreno #5 from South Bend. I took it apart the best I could, cleaned it all up, oiled it, etc... and carefully reassembled it back together. It works like a charm! My wife's grandpa would be proud!
