Thank you C-7.. Here we are only allowed two rods each as a maximum. Here I locate the perch by trolling. In the evening in shallow I normally can find them. Then bobber fish them . That’s where I get those big one nes while others fish out deep and catch smaller ones.

LOL opposite of me..I'm watching people bobber fish and striking out..and I drift in 20 feet deep actually from 7 ft to 20 ft..I got a nice 10 1/2 inch bluegill last week..but I have a hard time posting pics..our average crappie runs about 12 inches..great for the smoker.

I try to stay away from the other fishermen because they will keep 100s of fish..Once I get a 1/2 dozen meals I will stop fishing for a while..IN October I plan to do some scouting ..Our archery season starts Nov. 1st.but thats also when our crappie start biting really good.
