White 3" twister tail on an 1/8 oz round jig or a Kalins 5" twister in smoke on a 3/8 oz jig works wonders on spring shallow water smallies here on Champlain. I can catch a hundred every day and just fish the mornings all within 2 miles of my dock. They range from 10" to 21" and up to 5 pounds. Great spring fishery that attracts all the big time bass fishermen. It is a fisherman's paradise.

Default CrankBait

I usually just use crankbait when I fish with a baitcaster reel.

Mepps #3 Aglia... Used them since I was a kid, when not using Rapalas.

For me its the grub, a great little soft plastic, can be used in a lot of different ways.
