How do you catch surface feeding Crappies?
Many times I have been frustrated by surface feeding crappies.
What is the solution.

A cork popper by fly rod might work. If they do go for the popper it is a lot of fun because you can see the take. Just be careful you don't do what I did last week. I got excited and pulled the
fly away before the fish took it.

I'm taking flys and a fly rod next time and try it. I have a couple rods.

I would use a Rapala F-3 silver minnow, with a bobber to cast out, crappie love it.
