Which one were you using?
They don't look like anything special to me
But I'm willing to cast one out
Aren't the bass down there a different breed that is bigger than ours?
I've always heard Florida strain tossed around but idk

So that's why the lips on them are shaped slightly different, from fishing jitterbugs a lot I know that wide action is really an attention grabber. Ill have to see if I can find a couple on ebay. Lol my watch list is filled with vintage lures all the time.

Do yourself a favor...if you buy them ...buy them new. I made a mistake..the vintage ones have funky colored bills. The new ones are cheaper and the bills are clear....
The brownish yellow ones do very good. They resemble our golden shiners and the silver ones resemble our gizzard shad....try to match the hatch for your area...
I was raised in MD on the eastern shore...For MD I would not get the DD14 I'd get the model one step smaller...I believe it's the little N. Goes about 9 foot and great size....easier on your bearings too..(-;
