There's ice on the lake near my house (at least in the bays) so I'm headed out for some walleye this weekend!!!..............as long as there is 4+" of ice.

went out on my friends pond yesterday and got skunked, the day before they were catchin crappie left and right. he said he coudnt keep his pole in the water before he had another one on.

They were killing the bass through the ice this past weekend in centural Wisconsin. Not enough ice for me yet though.

We've got about 4 - 5 inches now. Enough to get my minnow traps put out. Then look out pickerel! OOPS! I mean walleye for our 'Merican friends.

there is 8-10" of ice out on the lake that i fish on now. Haven't caught a ton of fish i think somewere around 6 bass 10 panfish in about 20 hours of fishing.

I have a passion also so perch and crappie when the ice comes. But we've had a warm spell and I'm waiting for the lake to freeze over so I could walk across it and see how well I could do. But every so often I pull up a catfish which is awesome they'll pull back pretty hard.
