Chuck, I have always followed the water, if it moves up, I move up, dropping water I pull out...just something to keep in mind

I remember last year MT...kind of goes with what you just said..it was the day after a magor storm..i was striking out and decided they were off..on my way out i ask another man," Catchin anything?" ..he replied ," Got 7 on the KVD frogs high on the shoreline." Lol your right again MTHands.

Oh..and i turned around and kept on fishing..lol

Up here I have almost not luck at all right after a storm goes by. It normally takes a couple of days before the fish come around to biting again.. I think it may have something to do with all the changes in the air pressure from going into a low front and back into a high front? But during a rain storm fish appear to bite best. Now tropical storm is a different beast all together.. We normally do not get many of those..

agree with Phil on problems with the barometric pressue deal:cry:, high pressure are my worst days:eek:, and also like Phil mentioned not sure what effect the changes will have on the fish, i know a cold front will shut them down, but i will be anxiously awaiting what you find post tropical storm low pressure/changes:confused:...

also, an wise old fisherman told me that if sticks that are floating in the water are "standing-up" might as well be at home:s5:, have generally been pretty accurate:s6:

One micro pick up today..that was it...I hate the 12 pound test..too shiney and thick..i explained this in the post above,Use What Works....

I found lots of fish...on the fish finder ..in 18 feet...I tried drifting, cranking DDivers , rattle traps and hitting the shoreline with Horny Toads..no takers
