That does look almost like two different fish. The head and mouth are way to small for a ten pound large mouth.

Definitely, give me a holler (PM) a week or so in advance of when you'll be down here. Its starting prespawn on Conroe right now. I have never fished Conroe during spawn or prespawn so I am not sure where they will be, but if your in the area we can hit the water to see what we can find

i used to fish conroe about 3-5 times a week, i spent most of my time up-river, i always liked fishing peach creek the first jungle, any thing past the 1097 bridge, but know the lake well, from one end to the other....not sure how much time i'll be in the houston/tomball area, even if we didn't get to fish i'd like to meet ya and maybe buy your dinner....i will let you know when it gets closer...take care, and get on some of those texas lunker's
