Default My scales have malfuntioned..

Just thought I would let you know that my fishing scales have gone bad on me. Or I am doing something wrong.. I have caught several smallmouths yesterday with the biggest being around 2 1/2 to 3 lbs.. some where. I tried to wiegh them but my scales said .9 lbs on one and them I tried to wiegh my biggest that was 17 inches and it read 1.9 lbs.. Then I tried one a young fella had and it wieghed in at 1.8 lbs. This one was 16 1/2 inches and was quite fat as well.. So until I get myself some other set of scales I will not be wieghing them in. I hope to have that resolved soon.. Then I caught another nice size smallmouth while trying to locate some white perch last night and the result was pretty much the same thing.. That one should of been around 2 1/2 to 3 lbs..
here is a pic of 2 of these bass..

The exact reason I use the Rapala Mechanical scale..those jokers have gone from 9.99 to 30.00...The seem to be right on to the ounce..Matt had the little round Berkley..It was 1 1/2 pounds off..and Zack had a Berkley; same scale as Matt in which that one that was also 1 pound off...

I love the Rapala mechanical...I use to use the digital...too many glitches.
