Yes sir..I agree..more like a toy..I don't like typing on it either..fact..I am right now..it's one finger at a time

But..I enjoy the apps..been playing solitary golf for a while since it's raining outdoors. I also have not figured out how to post pics on HNI

But..the plus..very light..can use anywhere ..weighs about a pound...love the diet app...lost 14 poundso far in 8 days..

One more Awesome app....you can click on Music and put together CDs..each song is about .99. Example, if you like a certain artist..all of his or her albums come up.you simply take your favorites off of them all to compile your own CD..When choosing your song you can click on it and listen to a sample to make sure you want the song.

My wife has an IPad and Itouch, I stick to my Kindle Fire. The ipad has good apps and the battery life is definitely impressive, but I can't use it for any real work. Suprisingly, I prefer the Kindle Fire for my Microsoft processes such as word and excel.

Yes sir..there is a Kindle Fire about 36 inches from me right now..I've messed with it some,..I favor the IPad...

Bigger selection of aps
Faster Internet connection
easier to use
Bigger screen..

Lol these answers are from my wife...

Now I ask her why she like Kindle Fire
"depends what you want it for.."
"Better for reading and games"

Over all ..my wife likes her IPad better as well...it's just that I've taken over...The Kindle was much cheaper though and she carries it in her pocket book.
