Default Matt beat me today...

He lost a lot of fish..but the one he boated took my 5.00 lol
He got a nice fat 6 1/2 pounder...Monday is the new moon..we each got 10 hits...had a good tiime

Here's the fish..he took it on his cell phone..23 inches 6 1/2 pounds..not bad for June..

Wow!! I guess that is a fat one! Congrats to Matt on a nice largemouth in deed.. It almost looks like it has not spawned yet..

Yes sir..we thought the same thing...oh I had one too...but...we won't talk about the bunch that got away..

Summary,..we had fun and Matt is 5.00 richer..we are going to go again after church. Tomorrow..should be on the water at 8:35

Good Luck to both of you tomorrow..

I will be hard at work waiting until prolly Tuesday. Then I am hoping to get a few live bait and see if I can find out what those big fish are that are down deep. That is if I can get the bait down past the perch..

Chuck, were yall mostly pitching to the islands or reeds out at saddle creek? I've found that reeds produce better for me in whatever lake I am fishing.

I mostly flip inside the reeds...I"ll be using braid today...I also pitch..whatever the shoreline calls for...
