Last of the Pre-Spawn Largemouth [picture]
A few days ago I was fortunate enough to land this fish pitching a deep weedbed in about 12 FOW while pre-fishing for some friends big opening weekend tournament here in Michigan. The 80 boat tournament was today and the fish pictured here beat out big bass by over 3/4lb and would have brought home over $1,000 just for big bass. My friends we able to place in money and were happy with the fish they boated.
This is one of the last pre-spawn fish Largemouth I will see in this area. Might have a good opportunity as some spawning Smallmouth very shortly.
