Had a few hours to spare and left the house with various forms of fishing equipment. Made the decision on the way North what water we were going to fish. Made a great decision and his a pod of Smallmouth that were on fire. Few largemouth in a different area of the lake, but not much size to them. Rattletrap bite was the best, with a few fish coming on other hardbaits and soft plastics. Fished for 3 hours and landed 22-25 fish from 3 FOW - 10 FOW.

Congrats buckhunter! I know the joy of catching those smallmouths.. I can see I am going to have my work cut out.... LOL It will be enjoyable though..

Nice pics! I am smallmouth crazy right now! Ever hooked into one of those on a fly rod!? Hands down beats a largemouth fight any day of the week to me.
