Default Line selection?!?!

I was wondering what line yall would use on this lake. I mainly pitch brush, docks, and grass. I was wondering if I should use flourocarbon or braid? I just started going to this lake and I think its called lake Weiss or something like that any help would be appreciated. THANKS

Depends on water clarity.

I,m going bass fishing in 2 hours....

I fish primarily cat tails..deep in the cat tails...so I use between 20-40 pound braid..Power Pro to be exact..I have not retied all season..I use the Palamar knot..a 4/0 Mustad hook and I have just recently learned from a semi pro to tighten the drag All the way down..to pull them out quickly. I prefer to use a black worm and will only use a jig if I I have to...when the structure is so thick the worm is difficult to find the tight spots..I do tend to get fewer hits on the jig versus the worm.

Line type and diameter are determined by water clarity and environment (Cloud cover, wind, plant life, etc)

Agreed..I have bass rods presently rigged with

20 # braid
40 pound braid
10 pound Trilene Green mono
and
10 pound FloroCarbon P-line

They each serve their purpose..90% of the time I flip in THICK CAT TAILS..so it's braid..and I really can't hard;ly tell the difference between 20 and 40..they are both skinny as 10 pound mono..
