Awesome catches Chuck! I was wondering what the title of your post was referring to until I saw what appeared to be a texas rigged trick worm Glad to see that they are still biting for you.

Thanks Aaron..I would have stayed longer but my battery was very low..the fish were off the shoreline..in 6-10 foot of water..as a cool breeze began to blow and the clouds darkened..same as the last time..the water was boiling with fish..

Bluebird days are not good fsihing ..I like the breeze before a storm..{ -;

I did have one break off..I was wrapped around a rock..not sure if a fish was on or not...I had over 25 bites today..many caught me unaware..must be my age.

Other lures tried and failed..

Fluke
deep diving norman
Jig
Rooster tail

We had some coudy weather roll in with some wind during the mid afternoon hours yesterday and the fish were biting decent as well. 3 fish on a green pumpkin jig with a green pumpkin Super Chunk trailer. All three hit the jig during quick hop presentations but never during the "drag" portions of the retrieval. They basically wanted it moving quick and hit it right when it started to drop back down. No takers on the usual Ol' Monster which has been solid lately. We'll see what's biting tomorrow.

Did you find them at 6-10 with your fish finder or did you just start catching them there by chance? That weight looks pretty small, 3/32? If so, I assume they are hitting the slow falling lure, most likely on the drop? Are you letting it sit at all or constantly retrieving it? I understand if you don't care to give that info out with the tourney still going. Anyways, congrats again, great looking fish, hope you catch some more!
