I went out again for a couple of hours..Being Sunday, everybody and their brother was out..I managed to boat one 2 pounder while flipping..but got a couple of birds .The brown bird is only native to central Florida..The purple bird is a Purple Gallinule and the brown was is a Limpkin..The 12 foot gator is back as well. NOte on the lake the old power plant in the distance..I'm on the north end.

Hey Chuck7, I used to study that lake when I was enrolled at Kathleen HS back in 81-82. Is the water still clear. Was one of the better lakes in the area. Good fishing keep it up!!
Welcome to the board..no sir..the lake is not clear ..it's just the picture..Lake Parker used to be one of the state's hot lakes..but has gone through quite a few 'Fish Kills' Back in 1983 it was WONDERFUL...It was easy to catch a big hawg....now , like all the other places you have to work for it...
Apprecaite the kind words Gangly..
