Default Crappie fishing on Weiss Lake

Thursday night we loaded up the pontoon and went crappie fishing on a channel ledge at about 32 feet. So we got our lights set up and started tight lineing if you don't know, this is when you drop down your line and just wait . I like an ultralite rod.We had a bunch of minnows under our lights at we started catching crappie and stripe at 14 and 18 feet. The limit on Weiss Lake is thirty crappie that have to be 10 inches or more to keep.We caught 21 keepers. The biggest one was fourteen inches,my uncle had one that was huge but it broke the hook not the 6 lb line.If you want any information on Weiss Lake E mail me at [email protected] .

I understand the terms Chuck, it was a joke aimed at the title of the OP.

I figured youd get it in a minute or two. I get people with that "crappie"/"crappy" thing all the time.
