Default Two Bass today

Caught two on lunch today. First was a dink, but the second was good at 2.93 lbs.

I have finally caught my 50th bass this year with the one below being number 51. I have everything in excell so I am going to see what lures have produced this year, and what the avg weight so far is, along with the avg weight per lure to see which is performing best. I didnt take a picture of the first, but this was the second bass at 2.93.

My overall average for the year thus far is 2.11 lbs.

My PB for the year of 4.14 lbs caught on a Berkely 10" Worm in Junebug.

These are my are my average weights per each lure used this year without discrepancies for color selection.

Berkley 10" Worm
2.80
Bomber Model B
1.82
Spinner Bait
2.07
Horny Toad
1.7
Vibrashock
2.13
YUM Money Minnow
2

An interesting thing to note is that two of my top three bass came off of a 10" worm texas rigged on 30lb braid in water with good visability. A lot of people dont think braid works well in water with decent visbility combined with a slow presentation, but thats what 2 of my 3 best were caught with.

I hope you get some good fishing in Chuck. Last year I got used to seeing a bunch of bass photos from you when I checked the site in the morning, hoping it goes that way for you again this summer.

With school going right now i get very little time to fish and have to squeeze in a little time on lunch breaks if I'm lucky. Maybe an hour a week, 2 hours at best. But they are generally good hours and I'll take what I can get

atleast you are in the fish and catching stuff. 3lbs is a good size for me, they are fun to catch and put up good fights without wearing down too fast.

yes sir..I beleive our fish are on steroids..LOL I thought for sure she was 5 or better..fought like a hawg..instead just a thick 19 inch fish...I don't like taking the time to photo unless I know the fish is a real good one so I quickly returned her ..or him [-;

I had one break my line..not sure why...probably should have retied.

Congrats Gangly!

I fished for a little while this morning and caught a lot of small bass. The biggest was prolly a pound and a half.. Also had a visitor watching over me all the time I fished LOl.. He was really interested in what I caught. I threw a large chub back and he went and grabed it up.. It was a nice peacefull morning to be trying it.. Here is a couple of pics of my visitor..

As he flew away with a chub for breakfast...
