Default Fishing a 10" Worm

I bought some Berkely 10" Power Worms, and I will probably do a Texas Rig or Carolina Rig, but not sure if one is preferred over the other considering the size of the worm, or if it even matters at all.

So, for those of you that fish with 10" worms, what presentation do you generally go with? Do you present it differently than you would a 7" worm?

I fish them on a C-Rig, but i don't start to fish them until it gets a little hotter and the fish are in the 14+ depth range. That it what works for me round here

i have the zoom 10" worms that are just like the berkley ones but i pond fish (im sure you dont) but some ponds i fish get like 20 feet deep but i texas rig it all the way. i recommend a 5/0 hook mabey a 6/0 depending on the brand but i use the 5/0 gamakatsu (however you spell it) standard worm hooks. Good Luck

Don't even bother with the ten inchers, go with 6" senkos or Yum dingers. The bass hammer them, and they have half the salt so they fall slower. Also, since the ends are ribbed and tapered, they have an enticing wiggling gesture has they fall, assuming you have rigged them wacky (Can be rigged texas as well)

I don't like yum dingers because of the durability, I like the strike king zero they will stretch three times as much as the yum dinger. As of the 10 inch worm I would go with a 6/0 lazer sharp and a texas rig with about a 1/2 ounce weight for deep water and a 1/4 for shallow water and a slower fall.

I have numerous bags of senkos and have had no luck with them, not interested in any more soft plastic sick baits. Thank you all for the great information, I appreciate it.
