well it's almost time for the walleye run here in ohio on the maumee and sandusky rivers. i fish the maumee for the run and always release the females back without taking them out of the water if possible because alot of them will spray their eggs if you take them out of the water. i wish more people would do the same because it is such a waste of eggs, but i keep the jacks. just wondering how many of ya fish the run on here or lake erie for that matter?
