not sure of what kind of deal your dad had worked out but jaco sells alot of what they call "non-current" motors that are a great deal, they are new, have a new warranty, and they do sell to the public, you may be buying an 06, 07, or an 08 motor, but for most people looking at re-powering its not a big deal, wouldn't be for me anyway

now that i think about it im not even sure he went throu Jaco...but for some reason the name popped in my head when i thought about it out of nowhere....I'll have to ask him.....i know he did something with a dealer number/ or i.d...and got a good price
