RE: banjo minow?
there illegal here[&o]
J/K[8D], i'd say a slugo, bass assasin, fluke, chatterbox, or any of these type baits would work about the same.
but none will catch'em like the ole helicopter lure[:-][:@]BTW, J/K bout the helicopter lure...most of those deals are about "hooking fisherman" and their wives/girlfriendsand not somuch the fishif you get my drift[&o]

They are almost as good as the flying lure.

im sure every fisherman has seen the commercial for the banjo minnow on a late night infomercial. my question is, has anyone bought it and does it work as well as advertised?

I say forget the infomercials, and go with what looks natural for whatever fish, you fish for would normally eat.
The stuff that is in their environment, like crawfish, grass hoppers, frogs, etc, etc, etc.
Stick to what nature uses.
The stuff that imitate the real stuff.
You will catch fish, and You, Annnnnnnnnd you pocket book will be a happy camper.
