RE: Canoes
I prefer to fish out of small aluminum boats.I bought me a 16 foot alumacraft and it is one of the best boats have ever had instead of paddling I also, got me a min kota to put on the back of it.I would prefer this for fishing in big creeks and ponds .I use mine on a small lake and it is perfect.

RE: Canoes
Nothing wrong with a small boat whether it's aluminum or wood really doesn't make a lot of difference. I would still use a canoe any day. It is easier to carry when needed and can get threw some tight places that a boat would not be able to. As mentioned before a kayak is another decent option as well. Also we have some lakes up here that motors are not allowed. The best option for those is a canoe or kayak.. Here is another pic from the other day of the stream I was in.

RE: Canoes
No matter how hard I try to get another pic in the same post I can not. Here is a pic of an old beaver dam I traveled threw. There is branches from a tree that fell into the stream with the reflections of trees. This gets real narrow going threw it until reaching the next one.
You can cover alot of ground with a canoe and do not have to wonder if you have enough life left in the battery to make it back..
