Default Wacky Worm.

I was fishing this evening i was trying for a few largemouth with a texas rig but there is this grass stuff on the bottom which makes it like pulling the worm through your front yard. So i decided to take the weight off and hook it wacky style, I have to admit i was a little skeptical at first but i was getting hit after hit. I missed quite a few but that will come with a little practice. I was just amazed at how they responded to it. I think i have found my new favorite way to catch bass for now.

Kalvin...
it is very good..I fish nothing but grass..Grass is wonderful .The fish like the cover..I use a micro small ROUND split shot..this makes the worm swim down very slowly..You also may need to get a graphite rod if you don't have one. yesterday the fsh were OFF TOTALLY..

I simply anchored to a grassy island and fan casted .I would make myself cast 10 cast before moving .Usually on cast 5 or 6 I'd feel the slightest tap..that is a fish..I simply lower the rod and follow my line as it slowly swims..most swam right toward the boat..I was using 10 pound mono and a 6 1/2 foot Lightening MEDIUM rod..this is called fast action..or springy action..it lets you give it a good hook set without breaking the line. This worked very well.If the fish weren't so small I would have stayed.

and the spinnerbait caught the biggest yesterday..It's also a good sized bass bait.
