What kind of reel do you use and whats your favorite name brand?
What kind of reel do you use the most? Baitcaster, Spinning, etc.. Now what name brand kind of reel do you prefer (if you even care)
Just about the only reel I use says Diawa on the side and is a baitcaster; unless I'm finesse fishin , shaky head, bed fishin, Sinko, etc.. Then I'm using a spinning reel.

Worming and Jigging.Garcia Revo baitcaster
All other fishing ..Open Faced Spincaster..Garcia Cardinal 104 or Shimano Symetric

I have a few open faced bait casters, but mostly my old trusty 33 Zebco Rino.. I love that reel for just about any kind of fishing I can give it. For fly fishing a Cortland graphite reel..

I prefer spinning reels. I just bought a Pfluger Presedent for only $60, which is a steel.The guy at the store let me compare it to a $130 Diawa and it crazy how much smoother the Pfluger was. I would suggest it to anyone who wants to save a few bucks on a great reel.

All Shimano here, TLD's, Speedmasters, Curados, Sphereos, Stradic, Symetrye (sp) Really any of their lines are tough to break and are ultimate in smoothness.
