I am really curious what everyone is experiencing this year compared to last. I am having oneof the worst fishing season I have ever had. I mainly fish small lakes around southern Wisconsin and all these lakes have really produced well ever since I was little. Starting with the winter ice fishing season and still going I haven't been able to catch anything worth a darn. By this time last year I was pounding huge fish regularly.
Is anyone else experiencing anything simular?

Yes sir,
This season has been somewhat worse..
2007...I got all the bluegills and specks I wanted..this year wildlife officials are wondering where the fish are..I've caught one keeper bluegill all year. and the bass...for the first time in history I missed the spawn.[&o].and I don't know how I missed it..but every bass I caught had a skinny stomach.I also usually get about 3 opportunities to catch a 10 pounder or over..this year so far I have not had an opportuinty.
Starting July 1st..even the big Lake Okeechobee is changing thier freshwater fish regulations..they are also noticing a decline in fish.
On a good note..my boating bass ratio has gotten much better and I'm averaging about 6 bass an outing at Saddle Creek....last year was about 3 bass. Most of my bass are in the 2 pound range. My best was 7 pounds.
