I could never just grab one rod, but here are my top picks.


Bass Pro shop Quantum Basspro with 8 pound mean green medium action 6'6".

Ultra Light Ugly Stik with 6 pound mono light action 5'4" I think.

I'm grabbin my $ 280.007'2" G Loomis flippin stick with my $699.00 Shimano that features electric disk brakes....

Which translates into my 6' Bass Pro Extreme Rod and my Quantum PT.

I'll grab my Steez combo. A 100H on a 7' MH with 12lb Sufix elite. I can throw anything with this setup. It is feather light and a pure joy to fish with.

Well I particularly like to bassfish so for me it is my Quantum PT bait caster on my 7' MH Berkley lightning rod. I use 10lbs. fluorocarbon line and I love to throw the Booyah Chatter Baits.
