Fish Finder Question

Hi guys,

My grandfather decided to pick this ol Fish Finder up off the curb while down in Florida. It seriously looks like some ancient technology! ;) It's a Sitrex Honda HE 356A. To be honest I'm not even sure if it works, but I plan on finding out this weekend. The problem is, that there is no transducer or 12v power plug with it. It has the connections on the back of the unit for it, but he didn't see (he claims:eek:) any of the related equipment needed to make it work. So my question is: where the heck do I find what I need? I already tried ebay and the good ol google search, but haven't found any listings that are current - only archived listings. Here are some pics to possibly spur some memory or something...

I know its unlikely, but I figured it's at least worth a try. I think it would be kinda funny to mount in the boat as a prank if nothing else :D;)

And if nothing else, I'm going to strip it down and use some of the different pieces in car audio installs (another of my hobbies)

Ya I was planning shooting them an email after I test to see if even works. There looked to be a little bit of water damage to the paper roll, but everything else looked pretty good and there doesn't appear to be any electrical problems I've seen yet. So we'll see. Thanks the reply.

He's a bit of a packrat and tinkerer. I'll put it this way, he has 5 cars in a 2 car garage - 3 disassembled of course :D. He has 2 model T's - one car, one truck and an old 34 Ford Coupe as well that are all in mostly in pieces. He's said that he'll fix 'em for years. I think I'll inherit a 34 Ford coupe body, and parts with some assembly required ;). He's been doing this for years and I don't think he'll ever stop. I don't know what all he's picked up at garage sales the last few weeks, but there is a couple boxes of junk in the back of the van last time I looked. I figure it keeps him outside, active, and makes him happy.
