I like to use a 4'' tube just hooked with a wormhook and no sinker. you jig it across the top and bass love it. Caught a 3 and 5 pounder last week in my uncles 3/4 acre farm pond. Best color is black with red flakes in it.

We'll since this thread was brought back from the dead, lets update things. What are you guys using in the dog days of summer? What do you find to work better at sunrise, and what do you find to get the fish biting in the evening?

I tore up the bass all day today hitting over 15 in 1-3ft along the shore. Only threw one bait the entire day. A Booya Red Hook Series Buzz bait. Have never had luck then them before but today made me a believer!

Arrows this year, I have really been shooting some carp. This is my first year doing it and I am a junky now.
