Hit the bow river again yesterday, had bit of slow/cold day. Guides on my rod kept freezing over so every 10-15mins had to break the ice off. Managed to land 2 rainbows, lost 3, only one fish worth a pic. My buddy got skunked. Both fish landed were caught on the SJW.

Yeah last week we were really warm but this week its dropped again, had a few snowy nights but melts during the day. Have to stick this bit of cold out though and try to get as much fishing in before the runoff starts, cause then the river is pretty much unfishable and thats the worst time of year, ice on lakes is unsafe to fish on, river/streams are high/fast/murky or still frozen over

Sounds fun. You spin or fly fishing?
Me and a few buddys have a trip planned to a lake where you will catch 30-40 fish a day over 17" possibility of pullin a 26" bow out. Im really excited for that
