i know there are just as many trout fisherman on here as bass fishermen. i think we have to have a tournament.

Sections could be:

East coast would get pumbled by the mid west. Our little VA brookies don't compare to the mid west. But I would be interested.

Plus Steelhead would have to be in their own category due to the fact that it is a Rainbow Trout, and a creek run 12" 1.5lb "Rainbow" couldn't compare to a 33" 10 pound steelhead.

Tough Call.

I wouldn't mind it to bad, but as others are saying, for me to catch a brookie that can compare to the steelheads and the like would be unreal..

I'm in,,,, but the biggest trout I can catch here in oklahoma at our two full time trout rivers is about 14" to 16" unless I got lucky and catch a brood stock trout that they release every now and then,,,I just been flyfishing for about four years and I love it,,and boy ,you can sure sink alot of MONEY into it just ask my wife[:@]

Do you tie your own? That will still cost you but it is cheaper and when you start catching fish off something you made it will sure give you a great feeling..
