In Decembera friends uncle in NC caught a 3lb 8oz Crappie state record and did like you and the recordTalapia......He ate it!

That is a big crappie, and also one of the best eating fish around. People always talk about the rainbow trout cooked fresh but they don't have near the flavor of the crappie or talapia.

I got a freezer full of crappie..I'll trade ya straight up for rainbows..pound for pound.

Hey Chuck, my son was catching some big Specks today 2-02-08 at Lake Carlton Arms....Using Booyah buzz baits.....

Beautiful Speck..Reb..is this the Carlton Arms in Lakeland near the Mall??My son lives there as well. I didn't know they had a boat ramp..It's jiust about a 4 acre pit correct??
