What a slab. Great picture of what I feel is the best fish God ever designed.

That is a big crappie, and also one of the best eating fish around. People always talk about the rainbow trout cooked fresh but they don't have near the flavor of the crappie or talapia.

Chuck,
That Carlton Arms on the north side of lakeland has some monsters in that lake. No boat ramp but I used to take a canoe out and slay the bass. Have caught several 8 lbers in their.. even from shore. The key is weightless soft plastics.

I apprecite that partner..I'll let Matt know that..It does look good. I like the cattails..I wonder if it would be ok if Matt and I carried my 10 footer to the lake..I need to check it out.

Chuck,
I'm sure it would be fine to carry your boat... people have always used boats in there and they have to get them in somehow. Also the old Summer Landing apartments (sunset lakes now) has a boat ramp that is accessible depending on water levels.

Chuck7 02-13-2008 04:17 PM

RE: Hey Chuck7

:D:DMY son was JUST talking about that boat ramp.{5 minutes ago.LOL} .We were wondering if we could use it..He lives in Calton..

Let me know if you fish it and how you do. Its only been a couple of years since I fished it but there has been a lot of development on the far side (Terra Largo)
