That is the name hoosier's call the paddlefish. (Though I first read about them in field and stream and they were called paddlefish)

Its pretty popular in the missiour river in eastern montana. Its the only way they can be taken and its legal. I wouldn't mind tryin it some time if I can make it when there running.

I know the state record caught here in indiana was on a crankbait in the mouth. (I swear the fish had to of been yawning and accidentily gotten hooked :D)

yeah but that was just a rare occasion. we have caught several like on the bill or wrapped around the bill. but majority are in the body and the tail ya know. lol how big was the state record in indiana
