This is the 32 & ½ in – 20 lbs catfish I caught last spring. Is it redneck to clean a catfish from an engine hoist?

Rednecks have better since than that, we do it in the bath tub!

The only thing that would make that picture better is you sitting in a chair, drinking a beer in the background while the wife cleans the fish on the engine hoist!!!

Yea...not too redneck with the concrete and house right there.

In a proper redneck scenario you would clean the fish while it is hanging on a closeline strong across the living room.

Maybe if it was a chain hoist anchored to a tree...

...I use an old ironing board, minus the padding, to clean fish. I might have you on that one.
