Default Big Laker

Hey guys I posted this last winter about a weekend laketrout fishing up on Lake Superior, my brother and I have a place up their... I never got the pics posted, Here they are and sorry they are so late.. The big laker weighed in at 27, My brother got him in 265 feet of water, thats about the depth they all came out of, give or take 30 feet... Thats deep, especially for ice fishing, their was a few of us up that weekend and we actually threw back almost 20 trout between that trip and the next weekend trip we took.. It was a good couple weekends... Enjoy

Wow, I would say big is putting it mildly... Congrats! I posted your pic so it wouldn't need to be open so much. By the way what did you use to jig it with? a lead fish with cut bait?

Great pictures. I can't imagine fishing at that depth. The lakes that I fish max out between 30-40 feet deep.

Would be a lot of fun to try that though.
