Default Anyone else ready for ice?

With archery season about 2 weeks away this time of year always gets me excited about ice fishing. Anyone else ready for the hard water? I am going to be working on building a perminent shanty over the next few weeks. Will be nice this year to be able to sit inside a warm shelter instead of my portable clam.

Bring on the cold!!!!

Do you already have the plans for your shanty? I was going to work on drawing some up this week.

it would be sweet if someone started an ice fishing contest later on this year.

That would be a sweet idea I like it.

Entering 2 tourneys this year up north. Joining the "Frost bite open" and of course "Tip up town" Dont know if anyone is familiar with either one of them, they are in Mid Michigan.

I am hoping to do some tournaments in southern Wisconsin this year. I was also planning on doing the Trap Attack series this year but they haven't posted anything yet so I don't know if I will be able to swing it on short notice since I usually have to take a day off of work to make some of the far events.

A Huntingnet tournament/contest sounds like a great idea. Not sure how that would work but I am sure we can come up with something.
