Problem is my boat is fibreglass and wood, if it was an aluminum boat i would have done that already since i weld for a living, but im thinkin im gunna get a round piece of rubber drill a hole the exact size of the cord but a lil bit bigger then the hole thats in the boat, put silicone around it and hammer it in then cover it all with silicone again.

I would drill it out a little bit bigger than the crack, and make sure you get all the carck and put a little cloth in it, then a coat of fiberglass over it. Good Luck to you on this project..
