MTHands sowed a seed in my heart last week.I'm sure he wasn't aware of it. He mentioned sticking with the basics and not going after every gimmick. That new giant tackle box is simply too big for my 10 foot jon so I've down sized and using the big box for my storage box...I;ve bought many pretty lures lately that i wil never use..[&:]Shame on me for wasting money..

Here is my old tackle box that I will be using and here is the stuff I really use. I even have one black and blue jig in there as a memory lure of my buddy MThands.The 2 boxes on the bottom that are out of sight is a spinner bait box with my 4 favorites and a hook box for panfish and bass....Tha tred tape is flagger tape..I've gotten lost a few times out there with our 100s of islands..The yellow gatchet is a whistle..I've been fined 45.00 once for not having it..My worms are Gambler Christmas tree and Red Shad Zoom.The Culret Fire and Ice are for Matt.The black case on the left is my digital camera...I've also got a cheap disposabal one in there.MThands needs to throw a disposable one in his box as well.The lures ot the left of the drain plug are 3 Heddon Torpedoes. Teh stuff in this box has caught fish consistently..If it works ..don't fix it.
now let's get er done..and stop all the non sense.

Looks good C7- your tackle box looks more like mine now( sometimes i have no idea what yall are saying when you talk about all the colours, lures brand names,etc- sure is a whole lot of im out there now)- guess i just dont keep upto well)

They use to have my SS# on my drivers licence - till i told them to take it off when renewing it last time- i mentioned about Id thieft& personal info to them)

yea!!! i like the idea of a disposable camera, but i can tell you i don't know how many pictures i'd take fishing by myself, especially in a tournament, and i'd feel kind of silly asking somone else to take a pic[&:]. another thing for me is my scanner is down and i haven't replaced it, i need too, but i just haven't, guess i'll break down and buy one soon, what do they sell for now, the last ones i looked at were fax, copier, printer, scanner, and you paid for all that stuff too[:@]. but i could also use a printer

as far as "back too the basics" the advertisers are busy selling you junk you don't have to have, remember the "flying lure", "helicoptor lure" and the infamous worm thatwas "outlawed for tournament use" sometimes i wonder how stupid they think we are, of course we just keep proving there point for them, most lures are made to catch fishermen first and fish secondly...

i see a lot of "sheople" being toyed with when advertisers tell you have to drive a certian kind of vehichle, wear certian clothes, do this and do that to be somebody, i know its just there sales pitch, but what a joke...

Last one i got ( about 6 mths or so ago) was a all in one printer/scanner etc- a lexmark i think it is... very reasonable 29.95 at walmart( the ink replacements cartridgefor it ormy last few priners where much more the the printer or theprinter/scanner.

Never seen a dog buying its own food either- tho these a wholeisle just for petfood.
But they do have a lota cute singing dog musicals adds on tv pushing it all-(all in the name of love of course)

But maybe they tell just there owners what brands to buy

thanks knightia, the last one i bought was an hp 3790 scanjet 120$, had a 1 year warranty, and broke at one yearand 2 months[:@] when it went down i looked at some that were all-in-one combo's and they ran around 170 ish[:@][:-], i do need to replace mine and if i can find one 50$ or less i'll have one soon, also need it to load up some family pics

That much C7? Im pretty sure on that price-as iwas really suprised at how cheap it was being a scanner& printer both- ( i have to wait till i gethome to check model etc)

We dont print out much but just text & dont need a more expensive one- onlythe most basic one they have.( ink refills being more then the printers or scanner/printers itself i find kinda odd)

( laast printer before that was $20- & was marked down at wlamart- a cheap one to begin with to)

I know what you mean about scanning family photos Mt- i have a big job ahead of me to scan all the mates old family photos-( i have very few on my side of the family picts)( im a great procrastanator for sure[&o])

These where in the camara/photo fourm - the old one on topis a scanned photo of her gramdma( the smallist girl)& familyi did on that scanner i mentioned above is what i used for it a few mths back i posted them in the post below..

I have lost a lot of photos trying to get them developed that way Chuck. I have had some come back on my negatives cut right in half that I was told didn't come out.I have gone digital for that reason now. But I have still got to figure how to take the photos, with what settings to use.

Same here M.T., and my scanner went down when I upgraded to windows vista. I haven't got any idea on what I can use with the new windows program[&:]. I'll just have to wait it out I guess.
