how often do you guys fish?

When the ice is in I fish commercially just about every day all day. During spring I fish commercially most mornings and during summer I sport fish 4 to 5 days a week at least for acouple of hours at a time. Fall is all hunting and no fishing. I live on the lake so other than ice fishing I just lower the boat into the water and go.

Code:
About 300 days out of the year

Man I could only wish. Normally 25-30 days a year if I can arrange it. Once September gets here and dove season opens hunting pretty much takes over. Between September 1 and last of January I like to get in at least 45hunts if not more. I think I may spend more actual hours fishing than hunting because I'll stay out long after dark whereas hunting ends 1/2 hour after sunset.

When ever I can get a chance to go! Normally 2 - 3 days a week sometimes 4. The weather has changes that from time to time. Right now all the streams are at least 3 feet above flood stage and some are higher than that. The weather appears to be nice today though so i might just go give it a try this afternoon.

Phil....Good luck....I'm definitely going fishingtoday myself, just haven't decided WHAT I'm going to fish for...
I'd like to hit a trout stream, but with the recent rain /snowmelt it might be too high to fish and it's about a half hour to drive to get there...
Instead, I'll probably go to my neighbor's farm pond for bullheads...It's only five minutes away and I've been HUNGRY for a nice mess of bullheads to fry up....

.....
No fishing next week...I'll be up in Ontario hunting gobblers...

I just tried down at the beach but nothing bit. I guess it is about time to put my canou into some of the shallow backwater bays and try for some crappie and gills.
