just slide a peice of powerpro around the shank once and slide down to where it enters the body and press down on the eye pretty good and close your eyes while your buddy jerks it out.;)

stepped on a tiny torpedo last year in the middle of the BWCA. Had to use pliers to cut the hook off because the barb was barried. Had a doctor in the group luckily. Barb is still in there.

oh yeah i have full confidence in freshwater now in salt waster i ahve to pull 100 lb power pro off the grouper ledge with the boat but you wanna know what is really scary i had three grouper brak me off AFTER i retied[:o]

I agree..freshwater it's great.The snook were snapping my line like thread in salt water.

20 but no leader...fish broke off within 5 seconds every time. They have teeth,;)

try 50 lb next time just spool up one reel with it heck 50 lb is all i use now unless i am in clear andhave to go mono
