Aren't bull trout the same species that is called dolly varden in other areas, such as Alaska..??... I've caught dollies in Alaska from the Mulchatna River...They are legal to keep there, and were very good eating, as were the leopard rainbows and grayling...We were mainly hunting rather than fishing, but the fishing was good and a meal of fresh fish was awelcomechange from eating moose and caribou every day for a week , not that there's anything BAD about eating moose and caribou... |
