Well I scored 60% but I don't mind take this quiz every so often because I do know my trout and grayling its just when I get to the whitefish.

I got a 90%. I screwed up one whitefish and one bull trout. The bulls look so similar to the brookies, and I'v never seen a bull up close, so they threw me a littlle.

Grizz... I haven't googled this..just working from my admittedly feeble memory...

However, I have always thought that true trout had black spots on a lighter background...That would make browns, cutthroats and rainbows true trout....

Char, on the other hand, have light spots on a dark background, which wouldinclude brookies, lakers , dollies and artic char... I always just thought that bull trout was a name for a large dolly varden..I may be wrong.... Wouldn't be the first time... Just ask my ( EX ) wife....:D....

That's what I thought as well pygmy.

That's a great little test. I emailed a bunch of my friends with it who are avid trout fisherman as am I. I got 100%--but it took me two tries:D. That one pip squeak lake trout that has his bottom jaw or something missing looked like a crrek chub (but thatwas not one of the selections:D)
