Brook trout-- fly rod, streamers and nymphs, spinners and worms
Landlock slamon-- fly rod and live bait
Lake trout--- Live bait, cut bait, and occasionaly fly rod
White perch for all the action they give and they are good eating-- worms and live bait.
Also, Atlantic salmon but that has been closed here for a while. They had a short catch and release season last fall on the Penobscot River and they are currently considering another one this year. If so I am heading down there for a chance to catch one.

You mean there are other fish species besides largemouth bass????? [8D]
I live, breathe, and sleep bass fishing. Aritificial tackle only. Haven't used live bait since I was a wee little boy. My favorite way to catch 'em is slow rolling a spinnerbait through grass or flipping/pitchin a texas rigged worm or lizard. Man i'm getting excited just thinking about it. To bad there's a foot of snow on the ground.

I like fishing for them all, but my two most favorite have to be catfish and largemouth bass. I love just sitting on the bank tight lineing for catfish on rivers, creeks, and ponds waiteing for a bite while relaxing on the bank takeing in the experience of being away from everything. But bass fishing is on the other end of the scale, nonstop casting and on a good day non stop catching and you have to make yourself leave or your arm just cant take another cast or fish.

Either Lakers or Pike in the spring, just a while after ice out. I troll crankbaits or cast bucktail jigs for the Lakers. For Pike, I either cast some of my custom wooden stickbaits, or else I have a dead cisco, or chunck of something under a bobber on a quick strike rig.

Usually a deep diving Husky Jerk, or else just a regular Rapala, Smithwick Rogue, or similar with a rubber core sinker about a foot above it just to get it down a bit deeper. Caught quite a fewlike that. If they're still deeper than that, I throw on a Shad Rap. Any other questions, feel free to ask
