Default Slaughtered the trout throught the ice!

Well me and a buddy of mine decided we should fill our craving for some trout so we headed out to the lake and boy was it a good time. I know i lost count after 15 and my buddy probably caught about the same amount as me so we guessed in total we must have caught about 35 fish all together, and we were only there for about 3hrs cause the wind picked up and it got a wee pit nipply. I would have snapped some more pics but we were too busy running back and forth from line to line.

Well its a stocked lake so the average size is about 10-12 inches, nothing too spectacular, but there are a few big guys in there.

Wild Rainbows can get pretty big upwards of 30 pounds.

I took my son and a friend out this morning and hammered them. We caught our limit and started back by 11:30 am. We can only use 2 lines each and can only keep 2 fish each. Only one greater then 14 inches and the other between 12 and 14 inches. We released another six or seven before completing our limit. ( 5 splake and 1 brook trout )

Man we don't have to many trout in my area of MN, I would love to get into a mess of them though!
