Default Some Rainbows from Sunday

Well, last night was the first time I fished this lake in a year, so I didn't know what to expect, but I heard they put some bigger fish in this year, so I figured I'd head out. This is what I ended up with

And the massive bass I caught

And the final catch

Not to bad for the first time out. I caughtthem ona mickey finn coloured bucktail and a tiny panther martin. The bad part though, this lake is supposed to be stocked with only bow's so people will stop fishing in "the fish farm". But some idiot put smallies in there [:@]Now don't get me wrong, I like smallies as much as the next guy, but we have like 10 great smallie lakes within a 20 minute drive. But at least I can continue using my ultra-light and no leader, and not have to worry about losing it to a snake. Hope everyone else had a successful weekend.

Cory

(And yes for you wondering, I do have the coolest side burns in Atikokan )

Beautiful fish, that third one down from the top is nearly a mounter based on colors. Well done!

Well, if I already didn't have a mounted rainbow, and had some money, maybe. But it being stocked and being fed with pellets it's whole life, just doesn't appeal to me. Besides, I've heard you can go to the "farm" and catch them on rocks, illegally, but still. Now if it woulda beena real rainbow
