Forgot the camera

I took my son Josh fishing with me today after work. He and I haven't fished together in almost two years.. The wind was blowing us all over and we couldn't buy a strike. When the sun started going down I moved closer to the boat ramp and we decided to fish the bank by the ramp before leaving. Josh tied on a black blue tail Bass Assassin. He tossed out and set the hook, "it's a good one" he said, just then she danced on the top trying to get off. Josh finally lipped her into the boat. She was full of eggs and tipped the scale at 8lb 2 oz.. we gave her a kiss on the lips and told her we'd see her next year...
I felt so bad I didn't bring my camera, so you will just have to take my word for it.

Congrats..I would of loved to have seen it. I missed a horse yesterday. No doubt...just like Josh said I need to set the hook harder. The hook was still in the rubber .The fish felt like a cinder block with fins. Rev..I starting to keep those disposable cameras in my tackle box. Kodak does a good job on those. Nice fish my friend.I'm going out again today too..looking for Mrs. Cinderblock

I just got back. I got one on film. Not a winner but a respectable 3 pounder. I went flipping this morning. We are in the post spawn. I hit the spawn dead on a couple weekls ago and was in hawg heaven
Yeah ..I still need lessons on setting the hook when flipping. Some situations do not allow one to reel down and cross their eyes. SOme of my situations are me stretching out 7 ' from the boat and the water is only 2 feet deep. I'm talking about fishing through tree limbs. Then the fish runs sideways. My Stren braid is doing wonderful. No break offs this year.However..I've lost ALOT of nice fish from messing up on hook sets. Worse year ever.I'm using 20 pound test.It does turn white after a few outings so I then just cut that part off. I've missed alot of good fish this year. I did get 3 in the boat today.Biggest was 3 pounds.
God bless,

Amen!! That's the truth.. I tell my kids all the time, each day they are making memories with their children. Even though we didn't have a camera, I know my son (Josh) will never forget that fishing trip.

Hey bro.,My son has the camera phoneand is always sending them to me on e-mail straight from the phone! I'm thinking of getting one also. Man, if you have my e-mailprogrammed on your phone, within a couple of minutes, I will have it in my e-mail and then save it to my pictures.
