you did right going with the optimax, mercury makes good motors, my 90 hp 2 stroke, which is about 26 yrs old and its still kicking strong, with only one major repair because we forgot to run the gas out of it before winter, so it got all gummed up and had to take it into the shop and have it fixed other than that it has been a good motor.
