Chuck, do I need a scale? I have a camara, so I think allI need is a scale.

I have a few new fly patterens just for bass, will tie some up soon.

What size fish won last year, wonderif I even have a chancewith all you hard core Bass guys .

Yeah you should have a scale..IF not I can get a formula with a sewing tape. You only need to know the girth and lenghth and it is accurate.
8 pounds and a few ounces won last year. He won .You can pull up last years results here my friend on the 2005 tournament.

A scale would be nice though.

Sorry Guss,
I went back looking All the fishing pictures are gone.Bummer. It was around 8.7 and was caught on a guided fishing trip. We have to watch out for Josh Keller. He had some nice fish last year. One was over 7. I only had a 5.6My excuse...the tournament started after our spawn was over. I have no excuse this year.Josh will be the one to beat. He's a pro.

Thanks Chuck, now I just have to wait for the ice to melt. Most of the time I get some Bass fishing in During early June and then late in the summer, end ofAugust, once the Trout fishing gets slow.

I will get a scale, I think I saw some for around $15 at Gander a few weeks ago that should work.

Walmart carries a nice digital for about 30.00 bucks .It's pretty darn accurate. I've calabrated mine and it's perfect with the postal scales. Made by Rapala.

found last years lm winner, like chuck mentioned it was around 8.5 #
and caught by "bearklr" on a trip to florida, don't let that discourage you though guss, a trophy is a trophy regardless and i love to see all the pics, really enjoy the smallmouth pics also, and any trophy fish

Here is a pic of the largemouth I caught last week and posted about. The pic makes it look bigger than it really is but the guide took it pretty close up so I posted a second one as well that makes it look better. Either way it was a nice fish and the biggest I have ever caught.
